Thanks for A Great Season!
Our sweet final boy Bluey went home to his forever family, meaning all of our puppies from our 2025 litter have gone to their homes. It's been such a joy to watch each puppy find their perfect fit. It's the highlight of our year!
Please stay in touch and send us pictures as your puppies grow up, we always love to see them. And as always, we're here for you for life, so let us know if you have any questions - they grow up SO fast!
All our best until next time,
The Schroeder Family
Our Last Boy - Bluey!
Meet Bluey, the last of our adorable chocolate lab puppies for 2025! This playful and affectionate boy is brimming with personality and eager to explore the world. All of his brothers and sisters have been picked up by some amazing forever families, and he’s ready to find his!
Bluey is a typical Lab puppy, full of energy and always up for a game of fetch. He's also incredibly intelligent and eager to please, making him a quick learner. At nine weeks old, he is fully vaccinated, and fully weaned onto solid puppy food.
Here's what makes Bluey special:
Loving and Affectionate: Bluey loves to cuddle and will be a loyal companion.
Playful and Energetic: He's always ready for a game of tug, a run in the yard, or a playful wrestling match.
Intelligent and Eager to Learn: Bluey is a quick learner and will thrive with positive reinforcement training.
Healthy and Well-Socialized: He's been raised in a loving home environment and is well-socialized with young children, adults, other dogs, and our cats, chickens, and goats!
We’ve loved having Bluey for his first nine weeks, and are so excited to see him find his forever family. Please contact us to set up a visit!
(As a reminder, Bluey will be our LAST puppy for 2025, and is the last puppy available from Meadow and Moses as they head into retirement in the lap of luxury on our farm!)
Sending Our Little Ones Off to New Adventures (and Some Still Looking for Theirs!)
It's a bittersweet time here – the time when our adorable puppies start heading off to their forever homes. Watching these little bundles of fluff grow and develop has been an absolute joy, and we're so excited for them to begin this new chapter with their loving families.
From their first wobbly steps to their playful tumbles and those adorable puppy naps, every moment has been precious. We've poured our hearts into nurturing them, ensuring they're well-socialized, healthy, and ready to bring endless love and laughter into their new homes.
Preparing them for this big transition involves a few key things:
Ensuring healthy starts: We ensure each puppy has a clean bill of health before they leave, including health checks, deworming, and their initial vaccinations.
Preparing puppy packs: Each puppy goes home with a little "starter kit" to help them settle in, including a blanket with familiar scents, a small supply of their current food, and helpful information for their new families.
Sharing information with new families: We provide detailed information in their puppy folders about bringing home a new puppy, food transitions, and all their AKC information. We also offer ongoing support and are always available to answer any questions.
Saying goodbye is never easy, but knowing they're going to loving homes makes it all worthwhile. We've seen the excitement in the eyes of their new families and we know they're in for a lifetime of love and companionship.
While many of our puppies have found their perfect matches, we still have two charming little boys and one sweet girl waiting for their forever families. They are just as playful, cuddly, and full of personality as their siblings!

Happy New Year - Week 5.5
We ended New Years Day here at our farm as usual, playing with these little cuties and soaking it all in while they’re here with us for two more weeks!
They’re loving their solid food and have all adjusted well, and Meadow loves this development too! She has been relaxing and resting after all her hard work raising her puppies this fall/winter:
But, there is still plenty of puppy playtime with mom!
Orange girl (reserved)
Blue collar boy (Available!)
Our three remaining available boys are in my next post below, please reach out to us if you’re interested to reserve one of our final puppies for the 2025 season!
Three Boys Available! - Six Weeks
Focusing on our three available puppies for 2025, all boys!
****This will be our only litter for 2025, and will be the final litter for Meadow & Moses. If you were hoping for a puppy from this pairing, and/or this year from us, this is your chance!
First, our black collar boy:

Second, our Blue collar boy:

And finally, our Green collar boy:

It was COLD out this morning so I only snapped a few quick pictures before heading back inside. I definitely wanted to get a six week update though, because they are growing SO fast!
Hard to believe they’ll be all grown up and ready to go home in just two weeks, on 1/18!
I had to abandon my new years photo ideas because of the freezing cold, but who needs props when their tiny tongues are the cutest, right?
Here’s all of us sprinting back inside to warm up!!!
Fear not, we are all nice and cozy now (thank you, woodstove!) as I post these pictures and catch up on your messages. Please reach out if you’re interested in any of these boys to set up a time to come meet them, or ask any questions!
Five Weeks!
We celebrated five weeks with a walk in the woods on an unseasonably warm day for December! The pups are weaned onto [watered down/mushy] solid food and Meadow is excited to be back playing with her friends in the yard during the day before she takes the night shift with her puppies. At six weeks, the puppies will get their first round of vaccines to take one step closer to being ready for their forever homes! While our girls are all spoken for, we still have three boys who are eagerly hoping to find their new families before pick-up day on 1/18/2025. We are accepting deposits to reserve these final three boys ahead of the pick up date, and are available for visits out to our farm or virtual/video visits for those a bit farther away. And of course, by email too with any questions!
Here’s the whole crew, bringing some cute chaos to our walk -
We were able to get some new individual photos of our boys too.

And finally, some more pictures of everyone together -

Let's hear it for the boys!
We received a deposit to reserve our final female today, and it's officially time to turn the spotlight to our boys!
After all, Saturday's are for the boys, right?! These little sweeties had some outside snow time today, and their baby blue eyes were poppin’ from the winter sun!
We have one reservation on one of these boys (TBD which one), so three are still waiting on their families to find them.
Reach out to us to find a time to come out to the farm, or to request more photos or a face time meeting.
Three Weeks! Available Puppy Pictures
Eyes are open, fumbling movements are happening, and the outside world is being explored! It’s been a bit warmer this week, so now that their eyes and ears are open and they’ve had their first round of dewormer, we’ve been able to get the puppies outside for little bits of time to smell the grass and the fresh air! They are all very curious pups, but still stick close by us - which is just fine by me!
Below are individual photos of our available puppies. We know they don’t look too different yet, but if any of these really catch your eye (or your heart), please inquire about that puppy directly by either their number or name. Of course for a Christmas litter of 8, we had to give them reindeer names! But fear not, their names will not be cemented in their memories by pick up time, so you can choose any name you’d like. If you let us know their new name, we’ll begin using it with them too while they’re with us.
Boy 1 - “Blitzen”
Boy 2 - “Donner”
Boy 3 - “Dasher”
Next up, the girls!
Girl 1 - “Prancer”
Girl 2 - “Comet”
Girl 3 - “Dancer”
Please contact us today with any questions, to schedule a visit, and/or to place your reservation!
Two weeks old
Can you believe it - Our litter is two weeks old today!
They're still sleepy little loaves of bread, but any day now their little blue eyes will begin popping open, and their ears too! With that progress, they'll begin trying to move more - getting better at crawling, then working on standing and walking. Teeth come in next, and at that point in the next couple of weeks we will begin weaning them to solid food. First, we start with a soaked mush of their food, working towards getting them on normal solid puppy food by the time they're ready for pick up in mid January.
This week, we'll be watching out for their eyes and ears to open up and monitoring their progress towards large motor skills (walking, jumping, running) and social skills (playing, tumbling, nipping and correcting).
They are all growing perfectly and gaining weight right on track. They had their dew claws removed, which have healed well. They'll be due for their first dewormer medication next Saturday, but other than that, Meadow is still taking excellent care of them without our meddling 😆
She is a patient and calm mom to her puppies, and is excited to show them off and let all of us in to hold them. This is great practice for the puppies to be well socialized to people, especially tiny hands.
Two females and three males are still available to be reserved for pick ups January 18th. Puppies are reserved by gender, then once they become more mobile and begin to differentiate their personalities, we begin asking families to choose their specific dog by the order in which the deposits were received. We are available for families to come out and meet the puppies before deciding, or we can do this remotely over email, text, or video call. Please reach out with any questions, or to inquire about a visit to our farm. We're looking forward to talking with you!

2025 Puppies Are Here!
It all begins with an idea.
Thanksgiving came early this year!
Sweet Momma Meadow welcomed eight beautiful, healthy puppies to our farm yesterday morning, on Saturday November 23rd! A perfect split of four boys and four girls - all healthy, adorable, and doing great.

Their eyes and ears will remain closed for the first couple weeks as they keep developing on the outside. During this time, they stay inside snuggled up in a puppy pile with their mom.
I love these early days of calm and cozy puppy snuggles. I love all the days, but these are especially special. Meadow is a great mom and trusts us well, so we have the joy of getting to check on them with ease, and sit in her kennel with her to give her love back while she’s working hard to take such good care of her babies.
We have received reservations on two females and one male already from our waitlist families.
Two females and three males are still available, and we are currently accepting deposits to reserve them.
Were you thinking about the joy of adopting a puppy at Christmastime, but a bit concerned about the logistics of a new tiny puppy during the holiday festivities? PERFECT. We’ll be able to start having families decide on which puppy will be theirs just before the holidays, for that holiday excitement and anticipation, and once the holiday rush dies down and your decor is stowed away, first pick ups will be Saturday January 18, 2025 at eight weeks of age.
