Two weeks old

Can you believe it - Our litter is two weeks old today!

They're still sleepy little loaves of bread, but any day now their little blue eyes will begin popping open, and their ears too! With that progress, they'll begin trying to move more - getting better at crawling, then working on standing and walking. Teeth come in next, and at that point in the next couple of weeks we will begin weaning them to solid food. First, we start with a soaked mush of their food, working towards getting them on normal solid puppy food by the time they're ready for pick up in mid January.

This week, we'll be watching out for their eyes and ears to open up and monitoring their progress towards large motor skills (walking, jumping, running) and social skills (playing, tumbling, nipping and correcting).

They are all growing perfectly and gaining weight right on track. They had their dew claws removed, which have healed well. They'll be due for their first dewormer medication next Saturday, but other than that, Meadow is still taking excellent care of them without our meddling 😆

She is a patient and calm mom to her puppies, and is excited to show them off and let all of us in to hold them. This is great practice for the puppies to be well socialized to people, especially tiny hands.

Two females and three males are still available to be reserved for pick ups January 18th. Puppies are reserved by gender, then once they become more mobile and begin to differentiate their personalities, we begin asking families to choose their specific dog by the order in which the deposits were received. We are available for families to come out and meet the puppies before deciding, or we can do this remotely over email, text, or video call. Please reach out with any questions, or to inquire about a visit to our farm. We're looking forward to talking with you!

2025 Puppies Are Here!

It all begins with an idea.

Thanksgiving came early this year!

Sweet Momma Meadow welcomed eight beautiful, healthy puppies to our farm yesterday morning, on Saturday November 23rd! A perfect split of four boys and four girls - all healthy, adorable, and doing great.

Their eyes and ears will remain closed for the first couple weeks as they keep developing on the outside. During this time, they stay inside snuggled up in a puppy pile with their mom.

I love these early days of calm and cozy puppy snuggles. I love all the days, but these are especially special. Meadow is a great mom and trusts us well, so we have the joy of getting to check on them with ease, and sit in her kennel with her to give her love back while she’s working hard to take such good care of her babies.

We have received reservations on two females and one male already from our waitlist families.

Two females and three males are still available, and we are currently accepting deposits to reserve them.

Were you thinking about the joy of adopting a puppy at Christmastime, but a bit concerned about the logistics of a new tiny puppy during the holiday festivities? PERFECT. We’ll be able to start having families decide on which puppy will be theirs just before the holidays, for that holiday excitement and anticipation, and once the holiday rush dies down and your decor is stowed away, first pick ups will be Saturday January 18, 2025 at eight weeks of age.
