Our Dogs
All of our litters come from our own labs, our pets! We take comfort from knowing every aspect of the pedigree, history, health, and temperament that is being passed on to your dog. We use EmBark For Breeders Dog DNA testing to screen for 250+ genetic health risks, and ensure best breeding practices in genetic diversity (coefficient of inbreeding).
Moses (Schroeder’s Prophet Moses)
We brought Moses home in 2017 from a long-time favorite breeder in Iowa. His size, structure, and aptitude for hunting skills back up his champion bloodline. His warm and friendly personality earns him his spot as our kids’ beloved “Momo.” He loves the outdoors - he begrudgingly slinks into the house at the end of the day and then quickly remembers how much he loves snoring on the couch.
Moses averages 95 lbs with a dark chocolate coat. He is an AKC-certified Purebred American Chocolate Labrador Retriever. His elbows and hips have all been evaluated and certified by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) to preclude hereditary joint problems like hip dysplasia.
Meadow (Schroeder’s Pretty Meadow)
Meadow came home just before Christmas 2018 from Indiana. She is a playful, snuggly girl who loves laying her head on your lap just as much as she loves chasing sticks outside! She is patient and loving, a great family dog. Her first litter whelped ELEVEN perfectly healthy puppies, and she cared for each of them - she quickly proved herself an exceptional mother.
