The Sweetest Six
We are HOT on the heels of July here on our farm, and these sweet puppies have made our summer an absolute blast so far. We’ve been keeping busy working on curbing the puppy bites and learning some manners, getting energy out in the yard and cooling off in the A/C. Bubbles, sprinklers, sidewalk chalk, and hammock swinging have all been made even more fun by these sweet little pups! They’ve even taken to gardening -
Or, perhaps more accurately, they enjoy licking the water off the soaker hoses in the garden! Smart pups!
While we have truly been loving spending our summer with them all, we know we’re not their forever home. Maybe you are! Watching their tiny little legs speed towards you, tongues out, ears flapping, tail wagging into a blur - it is the absolute best. The kind of life I wish for everyone!
With plenty of adventures both on and off the farm, with new dogs, new animals, new people big and little, these pups have gained confidence and curiosity as they’ve grown. They are huge people lovers, and would be quick to swarm you if you come for a visit. They all love being held and pet, especially their velvet soft ears, and they enjoy spending their time racing around the yard or the living room, and curling up in a lap to rest.
They’ve also proven to be great buddies during my least favorite chore - folding laundry:
Our last available girl - who our kids have curiously named “pink wish purple.” All names are subject to change :)
“Pink Wish Purple” is our only available female from this litter. She is a sweetheart, so much so that my daughter sometimes will call her “cupcake, because she’s sweeter than a cupcake!” She enjoys dozing in the pillow and blanket forts our kids make for the puppies.
Ziggy is another sweet boy with beautiful dappling on his front legs. He is a calmer pup relative to his litter mates, and doesn’t involve himself as much with the play fighting. He seems to prefer investigating his surroundings, looking for fallen pieces of kibble, just in case, or giving me those huge puppy eyes to beg for more food! We can always find him around his favorite brother below:
Zaggy is best buddy to dark green - sometimes it’s hard to tell them apart, except for the beautiful asymmetrical white marking across his nose and under his eye. He is one snuggly guy, loves to stay right by your side, run off and check something out, and come to check back in and lick your hand, and run off to tackle a brother or sister. Zig & Zag are buds, but are not a bonded pair. They’re find venturing off on their own or playing with other siblings - we expect them to adjust just as quickly to their new homes - once they find them!
Sneakers got his name by being the first pup in his litter to figure out how to escape their puppy pen and run over to us while we were playing in the sprinkler. He is one handsome boy! He loves to play with his littermates, people, our big dogs, and our cats too! A snuggly social butterfly!
Cutie is very aptly named. This little boy has the most beautiful dappling, the sweetest face, all complemented by an even temperament. We love to see it. He also frequents the puppy pillow forts (puppy palaces) that our kids construct for their nap times, and he’s been known to join in on family movie nights on the couch. All part of his socialization to prepare him for a lifetime of quality time with his forever family!
OK. You’ve figured it out. They are all handsome boys!
This is Scrambles (because he has a yellow collar, like scrambled eggs!). He’s been a wiggly, waggly bunch of fun from the jump. With his happy-go-lucky spirit, expect lots of full body tail wagging from this little love! He’s just plain happy to be here, wherever he is. Hopefully, that’s forever with you
All of these puppies, five boys and one girl, are still searching for their forever homes. They are all up to date on their vaccinations and dewormings - ready to go home with you. Please contact us with any questions, or to set up a time to come out and meet them and their proud parents, Bonnie and Huck, at our farm in Southeast Michigan. We’ll all be waiting to hear from you!
